From South Manchester to South Sydney, Sam’s tradie background has evolved into a successful design career that has taken the 16,986km turn he always wanted.
Born and bred in Manchester, Sam made the switch from rainy days and warm beers to a sunny life in Sydney. With just over 10 years’ experience in the design industry, with an additional 3.5 years as a carpenter prior to that, Sam has an extensive creative background with a particularly keen eye on joinery details when it comes to designing a project.
Gaining a First Class Honors Degree from The University of Salford, UK, Sam completed voluntary design internships in both Manchester and Hong Kong before he later went on to gain industry experience in an array of both well-established Interior Design and Architecture practices in and around Manchester.
Sam, with his knowledge and background, brings to Hot Black and his clients a diverse and unique design direction, producing exciting concepts and well-coordinated construction delivery documents and onsite success.
Whilst Sam really enjoys running, travelling and comedy, his real love is Music. From Techno to House Music to 80’s anthems… Sam is our resident Sonos DJ!
