The Hot Black Architecture and Interiors team have been working closely with our client to create their dream home in a prominent area of Melbourne.
With three growing children in their teens, it was important for each child to have their own walk in robes and ensuites. The guest bedroom needed to future proof for in-laws staying for long spells. The clients have large extended families and love to entertain, so wanted a house that could accommodate all their needs.
The brief is for a 5 bedroom home with study, open plan kitchen, living and dining area overlooking a large partially covered outdoor terrace and pool, three different living rooms, basement carpark to accommodate 5 cars, a gym, games room, mud room, grand entry foyer, wine cellar and lift.
The kitchen is to be fitted with high end appliances, and extends outwards towards the bbq area. It is supported by a butlers kitchen which is connected to the laundry, and provides direct access to the lift to enable easy transition of groceries from the car to the pantry.
The master retreat captures distant views from the bedroom, from within the free standing tub, and from within the shower.
The facade conveys a sense of luxury and presence within the streetscape, whilst providing a timeless design aesthetic.
Hot Black have been working collaborative to design this home from the inside out, to create spaces that will be a joy for it owners. We are excited for construction to commence in 2023.
