Next project

Autex’s vision for their new workplace needed to represent the innovative, bold and creative attitude that drives the business daily.

With a new opportunity to combine multiple offices and teams in one space, Autex wanted to create a visual landscape in an urban environment. The design philosophy also needed to be underpinned by the fact that Autex products could be – and should be – used outside of just the meeting areas. In fact, a major design pillar was to celebrate the Autex product throughout, really showcasing the variety and application approaches that could be implemented. In contrast to the typical association of being a relatively rigid material, curves and arches were used throughout the design to soften the feel.

We also worked closely with their team to look at unique ways to utilise the Autex products throughout the office both on the walls and ceiling, and act as an extension to their showroom. We implemented large graphical details throughout the breakout space, which also tied in to the wayfinding language, and helped to add excitement and colour into the space in such a unique way. The landscape effect is achieved with colour, soft sweeping forms and the general layout of the workplace. Overall, the process was highly collaborative, and the look was playful and inviting – a real representation of the brand and a great space to entertain.
