Hot Black were engaged to deliver a reinvented call centre environment with the user profile in mind, to create a space that enabled flexibility of the teams, collaboration zones and a pride of place to enable the wider ANZ team whom are located in the Melbourne CBD to connect to Dorcas Street.
Our scope was to develop the design scheme concurrently with the workplace briefing with the Business Units, appointed to develop the Interiors & Wayfinding strategy to accommodate approx. 1400 staff. Recognising opportunities to re-use existing conditions and furniture as much as possible to enable opportunities to introduce a “connected landscape” concept where the teams could congregate, rest and retreat.
Opportunities for active hubs and breakout space to support the energise and play aspects that enable users in a high demand call centre environment were interpreted to align with ANZ objectives. Further to the interior scope, Hot Black have been engaged to develop the design scheme for the exterior terrace to encourage use and connectivity between all ANZ teams at Dorcas and Campus (Collins St).
