Associate Interior Designer
Amy Boughen

Amy believes the future of the interior designer is in designing integrated, adaptive, and responsible environments.

Amy is an associate designer with extensive experience in delivering design outcomes with a unique grasp on the creative, conceptual process. She believes the future of the interior designer is in designing integrated, adaptive, and responsible environments.

Her design background has led her to work on an extensive range of projects, including installation and exhibition design, theatre design, private and multi-residential, hospitality, retail, workplace fit outs and workplace strategy. Throughout which she’s brought a strong interest in sustainable processes, materiality and the psychology of space.

Using design as a tool to heighten the sensory experience, Amy believes good design is aesthetically beautiful yet should also engage the senses with both awareness and intention.

In her spare time, she enjoys moving her body at the gym for a sunrise session, getting into the ocean, cooking new nourishing recipes for her loved ones or reading a good book.
