Empowering their teams to connect globally and instantly, the Dentsu workplace spanning across 3 floors totalling 4,500sq/m had to align with the company’s dynamic and flexible strategy.
The relocation of Dentsu from South Melbourne to Cremorne marked a significant step forward for the brand. A sensory designed space for the curious, the fitout needed to reflect the values and aspirations of the brand. Empowering their teams to connect globally and instantly, the new fitout had to align with the company dynamic and flexible strategy. The design ensured that the brand ethos was supported: never-before possibilities, never-before connectedness, never-before opportunities, never-before commitment.
Shared facilities embrace the diverse and broad range of talent within the company, encouraging a unified sense of belonging and community. Placement of neighbourhoods are imbued with individual personality and the needs of each service line, whilst maintaining a united design voice throughout the workplace.
At the forefront of discussion, and weaved into each layer of design, sustainability was championed by the steering committee through the finishes, furniture & materiality selection.
Working with Tylah Saunders, a Melbourne raised First Nations artist, the mural took a contemporary approach – handpainted entry mural & custom vinyl murals in 4 gathering spaces throughout the workspace. Each responding to the Dentsu brand through complementary colourways.
