Nestled within various food courts, La Petite Creperie’s unique Caravan Kiosk stands proudly in its place. A take on the food truck movement in Melbourne, the humble food stand offers a play on what is typically deemed as an outdoor approach to the food and beverage offer!

Challenged by the various site context and the aspiration to deliver “Juliette” as mobile offer, the traditional outset of a parked food car was reinvented, and a bespoke solution was created to ensure it complied with the site context and the forecasted plans for the centre’s redevelopment.

A strong existing brand guideline formed the foundation of the aesthetic to be “arrogantly French”. With typical French details applied to the structure and graphic application ensured the kiosks were true to its authentic nature and heroes natural timber details. The design also carries through the day-to-night night experience with an activated lighting solution.

Interior internal workings had to support the business operations in a small footprint, so the solution was carefully planned to ensure that the transparency from all angles was to celebrate the food offer.

This bespoke take on a typical food stand means that our client reaps the rewards of investment, no matter where they take it!
