Hot Black acknowledges the traditional owners, the Wurundjeri and Boon Wurrung people of the Kulin Nation, on whose land we meet, share and work.

Leading running shoe brand for enthusiasts and professional athletes alike, Hot Black were excited to work with Asics on their new workspace and showroom in Port Melbourne

The 750sqm project was a warehouse conversion which required a fit out that rang true with the ASICS’ values and requirements. Not only an office, the key need for this space was the ability to hold events, showcase the latest performance lines and provide a space for training.

Brand was paramount as part of the experience from the get-go, with the arrival experience adorned with statements to suggest entry to a sports arena – the ASICS arena.

Interior planning and graphic solutions joined together to develop the ASICS’ brand values into a built environment where confidence in performance was celebrated.

The space entails a workplace function, retail display space, breakout area and a large lecture style showroom to nurture the variety of visitors that come. Strong colour and pattern gestures applied to the space follow the unique design ethos of the Asics product line.
